I started skydiving in 1988. I get so much
out of the sport that in 1990 I made it my full time occupation
and became a military parachute technician. I am a BPA qualified;
a parachute rigger, category system instructor (static line),
accelerated freefall instructor, formation skydiving coach
and a Birdman Ltd approved wingsuit flight instructor. All
this has enabled me to notch up over 5000 descents.
Skydiving is more than just a job to me, and I’ve
competed in a range of events. I’ve achieved 2 gold
medals in the skysurfing national championships and one
as a cameraflyer in the world skydiving championships with
team Vmax, and a silver in the artistic freefly national
championship. As a freefall cameraflyer I’ve built
up an eclectic portfolio, including promotional images for
Ralph Lauren and film work for extreme sports programmes,
various kids TV shows, charity work, and the GMTV Eammon
Holmes tandem experience.
I’m always pleased to welcome new people
to the sport, and whether you choose to have a one off tandem
experience or do every course available and become a jump
junky you will have an unforgettable experience that could
change your life. Its not always easy to have the courage
to make that leap but with your determination and the support
and encouragement of friendly and professional staff, you
have the potential to experience one of the greatest achievements
of your life.
